Deep cleaning for the catering rigs that work Tumalo’s weddings and the venues they roll onto. A trailer holds an entire kitchen in a few square feet, and a rig on the wedding circuit has to look immaculate when it pulls up to a reception.
A caterer’s rig is judged up close
At a wedding the cart is part of the setting, parked feet from guests in their best clothes, so a smear of old grease on the serving window or a hazed steel panel reads instantly. Inside that tight galley, the smoke off the range plates the overhead and the side panels and settles into the seams behind bolted equipment, right where a between-event wipe-down never reaches. A rig that only sees quick cleanups arrives at the next booking carrying weeks of that hidden buildup.
What a Tumalo cart clean covers
The cooking bank front to back, worked down to the metal. Every steel face, including the panel above the range, polished back with the grain. Vent filters lifted for a soak and reset. The floor degreased into the corners and behind the anchored gear. Sinks, the handwash unit, and the outside of the water system checked and wiped. And an exterior wash on request, which for a wedding rig is usually not optional.
Venue lawns and event sites
Because Tumalo’s carts work private events on venue and acreage grounds, the ground the rig parks on is the client’s showpiece, a manicured lawn or a finished patio. We keep grease off it: interior degrease, exterior body wash, and the pad and footprint under the cart taken up, with a pressure wash of any slab where grease has set.
Booked around the event, not a route
Being our closest community, Tumalo lets us fit a cart clean to an event schedule on short notice, a reset the week of a wedding or a cleanup the morning after, rather than a fixed route day.
FAQ
Can you clean the week of a wedding?
Yes, and short notice works here given how close Tumalo is to our base. We time the reset to the event date.
Do you protect the venue’s lawn or patio?
Yes. We take up the pad under the cart and pressure wash any hardscape where grease has set, so nothing is left on the client’s grounds.
How long does one cart take?
A half to a full day, depending on size and how long since the last deep clean.
