Tracks matter more than people expect. A clean pane above a track full of grit and dead insects still reads as dirty, and it’s the part most people never get to.
Gutters, usually on the same visit
Most homeowners book gutter clearing together with windows, and it makes sense. We’re already up on the ladders and working the exterior. In Central Oregon the gutters fill with pine and juniper needles, not just leaves, and needles pack down into a mat that holds water and blocks downspouts. Clearing them when we do the glass saves a second trip and a second minimum charge.
We clear the debris, flush the runs where we can reach, and tell you if a downspout is blocked or a section is pitched wrong. This is clearing, not gutter repair or guard installation.
The Bend part
Three things work on Bend windows specifically.
Sprinkler overspray. Central Oregon water carries enough mineral content that irrigation hitting the glass leaves spots, and those spots build into a permanent haze. Left long enough the mineral etches into the glass and no cleaning removes it. If your sprinklers hit the house, adjusting them is worth more than any cleaning.
Summer dust and smoke. The dry season coats exterior glass in fine dust, and wildfire smoke leaves a film that’s most obvious on south and west-facing windows, which, in Bend, are usually the ones facing the view.
Winter grit. Splash from cinders and traction material carries onto ground-floor glass through the winter.
Which is why most Bend homes end up doing this twice: once in spring after the grit stops, and once in early fall after smoke season.
Scheduling
Twice a year works for most homes. Annually is enough for homes with limited exposure. Some clients book once, in spring, and that’s fine too.
We don’t clean exterior glass in freezing weather or heavy wind, because the result doesn’t hold. Bend winters mean some rescheduling and we’ll call rather than doing work that won’t last.

Do you do inside and outside?
Both. Interior is usually where the fingerprints and pet nose prints are.
Do you clean screens?
Yes, on request. Screens hold a surprising amount of dust and cut visible light noticeably.
What about hard water spots?
Fresh mineral deposit usually comes off with the right treatment. Long-term etching is often permanent. We’ll test a pane and tell you which one you have before quoting the house.
How long does it take?
Most Bend homes are a half day. Larger homes with a lot of glass take longer.
Do you clean skylights?
Within safe reach, yes.
Do you clear gutters?
Yes, on request, and most people pair it with a window visit since we’re already on the exterior. We clear needles and debris and flush what we can reach. It’s clearing, not gutter repair or guard installation.
