Who we’re looking for

You run your own cleaning business, or you’re building one, and you want commercial work without doing the selling. Specifically:

  • Commercial and residential cleaners
  • Carpet cleaning businesses
  • Hard floor care specialists (strip and wax, burnishing, tile and grout)
  • Window cleaners
  • Pressure washing operators

This is a contracting opportunity, not employment. You run your own business, set your own operation, carry your own insurance, and handle your own taxes. See our current commercial services and industries we serve to know the kind of accounts we assign.

Why partner with Maid Clean

Accounts, not leads

We handle the sales, the quoting, and the client relationship. You get scoped work with the details settled before you arrive, not a phone number and a maybe.

Scope in writing

Every account comes with a room-by-room task list and set frequencies, so you never show up to discover the job was twice what you were told.

A consistent schedule

Recurring commercial accounts on a regular rotation, not one-off gigs you have to keep chasing.

Room to grow

As you prove reliable, we assign more work and larger accounts. Crews that want to add a service line (carpet, hard floor care, window cleaning, pressure washing) can take on that work too.

What you need to have

  • Reliable transportation
  • Your own equipment and supplies
  • Current business liability insurance
  • Availability that matches the accounts we’d assign you
  • Verifiable past work and references

How it works

  1. Apply. Fill out the form below and tell us what you do, where you can work, and what you’ve cleaned before.
  2. We review and verify. We look at your experience and references and confirm your business liability insurance is current.
  3. We meet and walk an account. A short intro, then we walk you through a real account’s written scope so expectations are clear on both sides.
  4. Your first assignment. We match you to an account that fits your service type, equipment, and availability.
  5. Ongoing scoped work. Deliver consistently and we keep the assignments coming and grow what we send you.

How you get paid

How you’re paid depends on the type of work.

Recurring janitorial accounts. You’re paid on a set schedule for each completed, scoped account. No waiting on the client to pay us first, and no invoices lost in a shuffle. Because the scope is fixed in writing before you start, what you’re paid for the job is settled before you arrive.

One-time and specialty jobs (window cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor care). You quote the job first. Once the scope and price are agreed and the work is done, you’re paid after the client pays for that job.

We’ll walk through the specific rate and pay schedule for your service type when we talk.

Independent contractor status

All cleaners engaged through Maid Clean operate as independent business owners, responsible for their own tools, taxes, licenses, scheduling, insurance, and how the work gets performed, consistent with Oregon’s independent contractor standards under ORS 670.600. This is a contracting relationship, not employment. You decide how you run your business; we bring you the accounts.

FAQ

Is this employment or independent contracting?

Independent contracting. You operate as your own business. You carry your own insurance, handle your own taxes, and control how the work is done. We assign scoped accounts; we don’t employ you. See Oregon’s independent contractor standards for what that means.

Do I need my own business liability insurance?

Yes. Current business liability insurance is required before we assign you any account, and we verify it during review. It protects you, us, and the client.

What areas do you assign work in?

Bend, Redmond, and across Central Oregon, including Sunriver, Prineville, Sisters, La Pine, Terrebonne, and Tumalo. Tell us the cities you can reliably serve and we match accounts accordingly.

What does it cost to join the network?

Nothing. There is no fee to apply or to be assigned work. You bring your own equipment, insurance, and transportation; we bring the accounts.

How much work can I expect?

It depends on your service type, availability, and how the assignments go. We start with an account that fits, and reliable contractors get more work and larger accounts over time.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Commercial and residential cleaners, carpet cleaning businesses, hard floor care specialists, window cleaners, and pressure washing operators. If you run a related cleaning business not on that list, apply anyway and describe what you do.
